COURSE OVERVIEW
★ In-Class Practical Courses: interactive course content, combined with English professional course content, focusing on practical teaching skills practice, English teaching methods, curriculum designs, and class management.
★ Online Courses: focusing on different teaching theories
★ Classroom Observation: live/online observation of English classes that will allow you to better understand classroom management
★ Seminar/Workshop: improving professional skills of teachers
In-Class Practical Courses
5 days full-time/35 hours (Each day 7 hours, from 9:00 to 17:00 with a one-hour lunch break)
The content will be a mixture of both theoretical and practical in order to prepare or train teachers how to effectively use English in a modern classroom
Venue: Class 3204, National Academy of Kaohsiung Normal University (No. 116 Heping 1st Road, Lingya District, Kaohsiung City)
Group Class: Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 12 people.
(If the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, NKNU has the right to postpone or cancel the programs and the tuition fee will be refunded.)
Module 1 - The Role of a Modern-Day ESL/EFL teacher
Module 2 - Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, and Language Assessment
Module 3 - Teaching Listening and Speaking in a Foreign Language
Module 4 - Teaching Reading and Writing in a Foreign Language
Module 5 - Lesson Planning and Presenting
